April 30, 10:45pm: Out of complete flatness emerges a remote chance of mid-week knee high swell.  We'll take just about anything at this point....

April 27, 11:30pm: Clean knee to thigh swell still rolling in late this evening. Much better than it looked from shore.   No pics.  No one out but me. Really can't imagine it lasting into the morning. 

April 26, 9:30pm: Went out after the showers passed. More size than the past few days. Solid thigh to waist plus with occasional chest high sets.  High tide funked it up good near sundown.  This evening was the end of a good run. Cold front now passing through. Looking to go flat for the rest of the week.   Maybe another run of chop next week with high pressure filling in after another weak front passes by on Sunday.   I sure hope so, Chris of shrimpcreole.com will be making a guest appearance on waltonsurf next week!!! 

April 25, 11:30pm: Not as fun as yesterday, but still no complaints.  Went out for about an hour before dark. Solid thigh to waist high.  Photoshop back up and running!  The pics are back!!!!!

April 24, 9:15pm: Thigh to mostly waist high wind swell.  Very good and consistent.  No one else out. 

April 23, 9:40pm: Knee to thigh high wind swell.Having some major software problems, which I hope to resolve soon.

April 22, 8:20pm: Almost didn't go out. Looked like completely crap from shore, but surfed for over an hour before sundown.  Very fun thigh high wind swell.  Looks good for the coming week.

April 15, 4pm: Awesome surf for those doing a drift, if not, prepare for some serious walking do to extreme E drift, approx 1/4 mile / 10 minutes.  Killer rights breaking anywhere from waist to well overhead.  Wind is still forecast to turn off-shore.  Tomorrow AM could be very fun!

April 14, 3:30pm: Surf 1 to 2:30. It started real fun at waist high with bigger sets, then about an hour into it, the E wind completely junked it up.  Strong showers on the way.  N wind thereafter.  I think we're done surfing for a few days

April 12 , 9pm: Great thigh to waist high swell in the evening.  No wind. Sweet.

April 6, 10:30pm: Flat and cold for the rest of the week.  Looks like we have some good chop on the way for early next week.

April 3 , 11pm: Thighplus in the AM and barely knee high rideabl in the evening. Going flat for some time ....

April 2 , 10pm: Surfed from 6:30 to 7:30 this evening.  Started out at thigh to waist and ended at waist to chest high on the sets. Couldn't have been much more fun.  Left / rights it really didn't matter.  Long rides with plenty of time to get into the wave. No one out but me, which was a real bummer since I wish I had pics to post. Surf looks to go from fun to sketchy for the rest of the week with N winds taking over.  Oh well ...

April 1 , 7:20pm: Waist to chest high drops on the outside sandbar.  Inside was shortboard only material, breaking very fast and mean. Hefty W drift took most of the fun out of it.  Hit two breaks and no one out but me, so no new pics ...

March 31, 7pm: Consistent thigh high with waist high sets and moderate W drift.  Real fun!
