Memorial Day +1 ,10pm: 15+ SE wind all day. Few guys out here and there, but not where I was, so no new pics. Thigh to waist plus. Not a thing of beauty but summer time surf just isn't something to take lightly. Got the alarm set early hopefully someone else will be out so I can update the pics .....
Memorial Day ,1pm: Full on family day at the beach. Knee to occasional thigh high. 10 to 15 mph E wind should continue for the next couple days then pick up and turn more SE Wednesday night into Thursday. It aint going to be pretty but should be rideable most of the week!
May 26, 11pm: Junky fun. Knee to thigh high shore dumpers. Looks to stick around another day .. maybe more.
May 25, 7am: Surfed 5:50 - 6:30am. Yesterday evening's waist to + is under major shrinkage this morning. Most spots have nearly flattened out. Surfed the local sand bar and although it was small, I certainly didn't want to get out. Consistent knee to thigh shore thumpage, and much better than it looks. No one but me out.
May 24, 6:30am: Knee to thigh with rare plus sets. On the junky side with a slight W drift, but still fun to get wet. Should stick around for another day or two.
May 23, 10pm: Not much higher than knee high until crossing from Bay to Walton county. Waist plus with many guys out in mid-Walton. Looking fun. Going to hit early before work tomorrow. Hopefully someone else will be out so I can update the pics.
May 15, 7 :30am: Knee to thigh plus high tide wreckage. Should improve with the falling tide. No one out but me.
May 14, 7:30pm: Knee to thigh high E wind swell by evening. Only a handful out.
May 7, 7:30pm: Clean waist high in the AM. Chest high breaking down the beach at noon. Knee high and barely, if even, rideable by sun down. Guess who was there at sundown ...
May 4, 7:30pm: Killer clean waist plus swell rolling in yesterday morning ... out of nowhere. By the time we got on it yesterday evening before sundown, but by that time it was on its way out. Maybe a little something this AM for the ultra desperate. Sunday through Wensday looking real good!
